Despite the fact that I work a lot and have a lot of school work, I am happy that I have found time this weekend to hang out with friends. It kind of sucks that I don’t have time or the money to spend time with people I really want to be with, but I will be able to make up for that in the future.

Tonight, I went to the IMPACT Halloween Dance at Moravian. At first I dressed up as my beewhore, but no one wins a costume contest dressed in a costume almost everyone has and for some reason I REALLY wanted to win. So, while the dance was still dead, I forced my friend Daina to drive me home so that I could dress up as one of my LARP characters, V’rai (she’s a troll archer). I quickly painted myself green and put my teeth in and called it a day. For good measure I brought V’rai’s quiver and bow. I didn’t want to make Daina miss the entire dance. 

We got back to the dance and it was still pretty lame, BUT I won Most Original Costume! I got a $25 iTunes gift card and a HUGGEEEE bag full of candy. Yeah, that’s totally a win in my book.

Sunday night Melissa and I are having a date night. I know it will be just as great, if not better, than tonight.
